folk music scene. Saylor is a multi-instrumentalist and an engaging
storyteller who is also a performer with The Sounds of Charleston.
Flutist Susan Conant is also a Charleston treasure versed in
a variety of musical styles. In addition to flute, Conant also plays
the whistle and recorder.
Fiddler Karin McQuade – who is the lead fiddler and vocalist
of the Na Fidieri ensemble – rounds out the group.
