Biography
Bob Williams and Michael Williams are a father and son guitar
violin duo that perform together and are also available for solo performances.
Comfortable with many styles from Jazz to Classical to Pop, they
have performed together weekly downtown Charleston for the past three
years.
A
teacher and performer for over twenty-five years, Bob Williams has
written two guitar method books and developed guitar programs at two
colleges in North Carolina. His
influences are from Christopher
Parkening to Charlie Byrd to Joe Pass
and Earl Klugh. Bob teaches
and performs full-time in the Charleston area.
Michael Williams is currently studying music at the College of Charleston. He was first chair violinist in the Region Orchestra and has been fifth chair in the All-State Orchestra for the past two years.
