The Coastal Breeze Band is a fun and interactive variety band from Columbia SC which features some of the regions most talented and reputable musicians. God has blessed us to be able to perform for great people all over the Southeast... and we love what we do!
Coastal Breeze is a true variety band that can perform dance music hits of many genres. We feature the best hits of Motown, Beach, Soul, Funk, Pop, Retro hits of the 70's, 80's, 90's, Disco, Country, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Swing, and Blues.
With our extensive musical library, Coastal Breeze works to develop custom musical play lists catered to each performance and each client. We will work with you to develop a custom program for your event, or you can leave it up to our experience to provide a great musical program for you.We offer 3 fantastic lead vocalists featuring the vocals of Joey Hodge, Joe Miller, and Kristi Kirk Hood. We offer outstanding live musicians featuring some of the region's top musicians, Bryson Borgstedt, Kyle Whitlock, Chuck Campbell, Jay Jenny, and Joe Miller. We play live music only...(no pre-recorded tracks)! We feature fantastic backup vocals, superior soloists, a tight rhythm section, fabulous horns, superb arrangements, pro-gear, class, style, sophistication, and proper song selection from our extensive list of the most requested and popular dance and party songs ever recorded. Coastal Breeze can play fantastic cocktail jazz and then rock the house with party and dance favorites to keep the dance floor full all night! We specialize in playing recognizable and popular songs that make people feel good and touch emotions, and we pride ourselves on playing with great musicality.... AND... without the "cheese" you get from many other bands and DJs. We don't need costumes, gimmicks, or cheesy choreography to do it right! Our formula is simple; we combine great music with great musicians... and the result is The Coastal Breeze Band!
We also pride ourselves on being able to learn new material for our clients as well as being flexible with our clients tastes. If a song is not currently on our list, we'd be happy to learn it if we don't already play it! And if you don't like certain songs or styles, we won't play them!

Joe, I have been meaning to email you since we got back from the honeymoon to tell you how much we enjoyed ya'll playing at the reception! It was perfect and so much fun! Joe: You guys did a super job for our fundraiser! Everyone on the committee was very pleased with your performance and your band received nothing but positive comments from the crowd. We would like to book you to come again next year if the dates work out. They probably will not set a date until the spring/early summer. Coastal Breeze did an awesome job at our daughter’s wedding. They are very professional, play a wide selection of great music and a pleasure to work with. They truly are a talented group of musicians! The selection of the band was extremely important as we had a formal sit down dinner reception with all the frills! Coastal Breeze brought tears to my eyes as they played the father-daughter dance (one they learned special for the day).. They did a better job than the original artist!
