David Archer Band, this description seems inadequate. How can you
describe a musical group as talented and versatile as this?
Party
Music The David Archer Band will have
you and your guests dancing until your feet hurt!
They have a great female vocalist who brings the
music of Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Stevie
Nicks, and also more current artists to the group’s
already extensive list of R&B, Motown, and other
dance music. You will dance till you drop……
and then you’ll beg for more!
Beach/Shag
Music Most of the band members grew up in the Charleston
area and were exposed to the classic sounds of the ‘50s, ‘60s,and
‘70s in
their formative years. All have been performing these tunes for many
years
and have the songs and the styles perfected. They perform many tunes
by the Drifters, Tams, as well as R&B/Soul Music, Classic Rock,
Oldies,
and Motown.
Swing
This group of full time professional musicians all have a deep love
for
and the ability to perform an entire evening of the great standards of
the ‘40s
through the present. Of all the musical styles that they
perform, this is
perhaps their favorite. They can do justice to the styles of Duke
Ellington,
Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Harry Connick Jr. They
also
have the finest Saxophone player in the area. They loved and played
Swing
and Big Band Music long before it became trendy!
Cocktails/Dinner
Music You and the band leader will choose the most
appropriate music for your event. In addition to mellow Jazz and
Swing, the
band can play a variety of tunes from Van Morrison, the Eagles, James
Taylor,
the Beatles, to the soft ballads of today. The volume will be
controlled so as
not to interfere with normal conversation.
No matter
if you are having a company party or wedding reception,
the David Archer Band will make your
event special. Their music will be the
final ingredient in the perfect mix. Your guests will be talking

fun, and
very danceable, yet not too loud.

David Archer Duo consists of
guitar/keyboards/vocals and
sax/flute/percussion. The duo has the ability to stroll with
unamplified guitar
& sax for a cocktail hour. By using a sophisticated keyboard
arrangement,
a full band sound is obtained with keyboards, guitar, sax, and vocals.
All
styles of music from Swing to Beach to "Brick House" are
available.

The
David Archer Trio*
adds our female vocalist for a total variety
sound
in a compact, affordable package. The female vocalist is very
interactive and
adds to the fun of the event. All types of music including Disco and
'80s-'90s
dance music are added to the blend of standards, ballads, beach,
Motown,
and other styles that the duo plays.
