She has enjoyed a long and successful career as a performer throughout the eastern United States, and her critically-acclaimed recordings are popular worldwide. Known as a champion of lesser-known songs by legendary composers, Lisa looks for the forgotten, seldom-performed gems and makes them her own in addition to putting her singular lyrical stamp on the world's best known standards. Now living in Charleston, Lisa is available for a wide variety of corporate events, cocktail hours, charitable dinners or events, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and any other setting where her refined and sophisticated performances will add the perfect, upscale finishing touch to your plans. Any combination of voice with instruments is available, from piano only upthrough a full big band, and her style is suited to background music,listening, and dancing. Song selection will always be discussed with aclient upon request, and special requests are gladly accommodated with advance notice prior to your event. She also specializes in the intimate, personal setting of private house concerts, with piano or guitar alone or with bass, drums, and a solo instrument such as sax added. These events usually consist of one or two 45-minute sets of songs (but can be tailored to a client's personal request), and are for those who enjoy the opportunity to sit and listen to a cabaret-style performance in the quiet, comfortable setting of a private home, or simply to have elegant, low-key background music for your wedding,dinner, party, fundraiser, or other special event.
